Robert Pottier released his music in Belgium; more biographical information about him is currently not available. In the original line-up of Inquiétude, Mélodie pour violon et cello, both solo instruments were supported by flute, clarinet, string quartet and piano. He connects the intimate and ‘worried’ A-part in a minor with a more open and reassuring B-part in a major. In both movements he consistently uses associative melodies, each time organized by 2 phrases (aa’ bb’ cc’, etc.).
