studied violin at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Dejan Mijajev and Frances Reusens. He honed his violin playing during numerous master classes, including this one with Canadian violinist Marc Destrubé, which had a major influence on his later violin playing.

For 13 years he was affiliated with the Beethoven Academy and the Bruges Chamber Orchestra. He has also performed regularly with the I Fiamminghi Chamber Orchestra, and now performs regularly with Prima la musica and Bryggen Strings.

As a chamber musician, he was part of the piano trio De la Haye. With this trio he recorded a complete CD for the “Toccata Classics” label with works by the Belgian composer Joseph Reylandt. Since January 2023 he is part of the string quartet “Romantic quartet”. An ensemble specializing in romantic performance with music by Brahms, Ravel and Bartok.

The practice of historical performance is also one of his great passions. A passion he shares with the Millenium Orchestra, Le concert d’Anvers and the Apotheosis ensemble, among others.

As a soloist, he performs Mozart’s 5th violin concerto, Saint-Saëns’ 3rd and creates Martin Valcke’s rhapsody with the instrumental collegium Brugense. He is the founder and artistic director of the ensemble a and the ensemble Art Déco Elixir d’Anvers.

Currently, he enthusiastically shares his knowledge at the academies of Lier and Hemiksem.
